Alternate Shortcuts to cut-copy-paste
Did you know there are alternate shortcuts to the commonly used cut (ctrl+x), copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) shortcuts?
Action Shortcut Alternate Shortcut Cut Ctrl+X Del+Shift Copy Ctrl+C Insert+Ctrl Paste Ctrl+V Insert+Shift
These are kind of confusing so I’m sticking to the Ctrl+ shortcuts. For those who use different keyboard layouts like Dvorák the X, C and V keys are placed far apart and awkward to use. In such cases the alternate shortcuts maybe easier to use.

I’ve actually heard that the C, V, and X in QWERTY are the awkwardly placed ones since you should technically hold the accelerator key with a different hand than you hit the shortcut (like a capital A should be right SHIFT + A). I have a bad habit of always using the same SHIFT key though, so i think this is something u have to train yourself to do.

Thanks for these. I’m a Dvorak user and it’s annoying to move the right hand off the mouse all the time while copying, especially if there are many entries to copy/paste.
Will try these. :)
